Strong, 100% waterproof, versatile and misunderstood. I first used Gorilla GlueTM about five years ago while building a rose trellis made from very wet pressure treated wood.. Though the brads deteriorated quickly leaving only the Gorilla GlueTM to hold the joints, there have been no failures.
I want to glue and screw some pressure treated plywood to some PT 2×8's. I figure I could use Gorilla glue or construction adhesive.. . We did the best we could.. . I have also been talking about PL premium ( also known as construction adhesives) I believe that PL works just as well in the Arizona desert .
Did you use PT wood Brian or cedar and does the gorilla work effectively with either? So far cedar chairs I made in 77 or 78 are still used all .
This treatment process is what makes treated lumber difficult to glue as the chemicals used add. If, however, you do not have the time or means to wait for wood to dry then utilize the wet epoxy. Wear gloves and a mask while working to protect yourself from the chemical laden dust.. Using Pressure Treated Lumber.
